SKY LOUNGE: free city views from 38F
20–30 min
The straightforward attraction is a high city view without an observatory ticket. Garden Place Tower’s 38F SKY LOUNGE is a free viewing space. The skyline, Tokyo Tower and bay direction vary with the window and weather.
Use the tower’s restaurant-floor lifts to 38F and allow 20–30 minutes. Restaurants on 38F and 39F charge separately; a meal reservation is not required for the viewing space. This is indoors behind glass, not a 360-degree open rooftop or a museum observatory.
Daylight or near-sunset visits suit photographs, but reflections and visibility matter and Mt Fuji is not guaranteed. Return to the tower after the brewery if you want evening light. This optional extension belongs to the Garden Place stop, rather than another compulsory stop.
Free views 11:00–23:30, dining extra; reflections and visibility affect the view.

Tokyo Photographic Art Museum: how pictures tell stories
60–90 min
If you choose one exhibition today, this museum is a good focus for photography and moving images. Look at how light, distance and sequencing turn a subject into a story; specialist camera knowledge is unnecessary.
The address is 1-13-3 Mita, Meguro, within Garden Place, even though it belongs in an Ebisu itinerary. Exhibitions and screenings change, with separate tickets; there is no fixed year-round ticket covering everything. Allow 60–90 minutes for one exhibition, more for two.
Usually closed Mondays, shifted to the next weekday after a Monday public holiday. The brewery usually closes Tuesdays, so choose a day when both open. Last entry is 30 minutes before closing.
Inside are lifts and multipurpose toilets on each floor, with wheelchair access. Wheelchairs and walkers can be borrowed at 1F without booking, subject to availability. The museum provides accessible station routes. Exhibition photography follows each show’s signs; old photographs and exhibition titles do not establish what is on today.
Usually closed Mondays; last entry 30 minutes before closing. Exhibition and screening tickets separate; photography follows signs.

YEBISU BREWERY TOKYO: the neighbourhood story and a freshly brewed glass
45–75 min
Ebisu is a place where beer helped give the neighbourhood its name. Opened in 2024, YEBISU BREWERY TOKYO combines brand history, on-site brewing and tasting, explaining the Garden Place story rather than adding another shopping stop.
Independent history-area entry is free, with an official suggested 20 minutes, and drinking is optional. The separately booked Japanese-language YEBISU the JOURNEY lasts about 45 minutes: adults 20+ ¥2,000; junior-high pupils to under 20 ¥1,000; primary-school children and younger free. Free entry does not include a guided place. Brewing equipment is viewed through glass, not by entering an industrial production line.
Allow additional tasting time. On 11 October 2026 the official regular Yebisu ∞ and ∞ Black are ¥1,200 per glass including tax; special brews vary. Taproom seats have a one-hour limit, drinks stay inside, and payment is cashless. Free admission does not mean free beer.
Under-20s and drivers do not drink. Families can visit the history area without buying alcohol. A complete wheelchair/stroller route has not been verified; there is insufficient information to confirm a wholly step-free visit. Afterwards, optionally return to the tower for free evening views, then head towards the station for coffee or a meal.
Usually closed Tuesdays with holiday shifts. Tours are in Japanese and booked. Wheelchair/stroller routes need facility confirmation; not verified here. Drinking 20+, never for drivers.
