Tokyo Big Sight: Ariake beneath four inverted pyramids
30–45 min
Four inverted pyramids above the conference building give Ariake a very different scale from Tokyo’s narrow old streets. See their outline from open public approaches even without attending an exhibition.
Ariake is in Koto Ward beside, but distinct from, Odaiba. Rinkai Line Kokusai-tenjijo and Yurikamome Tokyo Big Sight are different stations: official walks are about seven and three minutes respectively. Allow 30–45 minutes for the exterior. Exhibition halls have organiser-specific admission; no public rooftop is included.
Add 60–90 minutes at Sona Area to learn about surviving the first 72 hours after a disaster, or keep that time for lunch. The exhibition complex has lifts and accessible toilets; its designated accessibility map defines the route rather than station proximity.
Genchan in TFT East offers a seafood lunch outside exhibition ticket gates; alternatively continue to Dream Park. The linked Ariake weather camera is not an exhibition-hall interior or a crowd forecast.
Exterior and exhibitions are separate; allow travel buffers on event days. Live playback depends on the source.
