2026 Tokyo YOSAKOI Festival

Follow the naruko clappers as dancers fill the streets—a city festival beyond the station’s shopping district.

2026.10.10 — 10.11

The streets become a stage

Tokyo YOSAKOI is the second part of Fukuro Matsuri, centered on dance performances. Teams express themselves through costumes, rhythm and formation. You don’t need to know them beforehand to catch the energy of the beat.

Choose one comfortable venue and watch several complete performances. It reveals more variety than constantly rushing to the next location.

Read each day’s program separately

10/10 covers eve-of-festival activities; 10/11 is the 27th Tokyo YOSAKOI. This listing includes both days, but not every team performs on both or in every slot. Check the official schedule for a specific team.

Plan your way back, too

Traffic restrictions apply around Ikebukuro West Exit. Agree on a meeting point, keep passages clear and avoid roads or performance routes for photos. Allow 60–120 minutes, adjusted to your favorite programs.

Before you go

Traffic-restriction hours are not the same as performance hours.

With children or older companions, choose pedestrian areas with an easy exit rather than a meetup point directly in front of a stage.
